Many of our seasonal campers enhance their sites with features such as decks, fences, sheds, sunrooms, landscaping, and other improvements. If a camper decides to leave the campground before the end of their lease term, they may offer their trailer and/or site improvements for sale and transfer their lease to a new seasonal renter.

Before advertising a site for sale, the current camper must notify Hitchcock's Hideaway of their intention to sell and provide their asking price.

The seller is responsible for listing the site, describing any improvements, and setting the sale price. Some choose to sell privately, while others work with a realtor.

All prospects must be approved by Hitchcock's Hideaway and review the lease agreement before a transfer can be completed. A transfer fee of $2,000 or 2% of the selling price (whichever is greater), plus GST, applies to all transfers.
